“Eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft, mit tollem Ausblick. Die Betten waren bequem und es gab eine kleine Küche. Das Frühstück war das Beste auf unserer bisherigen Rundreise. Der Besitzer bringt jeden Abend einen Mix aus verschieden Essen. Sehr abwechslungsreich und richtig lecker. Bei uns gab es von traditionellen Frühstück bishin zu Sandwiches, overnight oats, Obst, Semmeln, Toastbrot, Marmelade, Joghurt, Milch… echt top. “Rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding. Great water pressure in the shower. Absolutely stunning views from the porch! The pool is cold but it is great to lounge by it after a day of hiking. Breakfast was simple but filling. This property is a hidden gem and a grear value for money.”

“I can't say enough for what a great time we had at Kakao Lodge. I was skeptical at first since I usually like staying in my chain hotels that provide all the normal American comforts. But after staying here, my mind has totally changed. You can't describe how awesome it is to be able to see a half dozen different species of exotic frogs at night, or a sloth while eating breakfast, or tropic birds singing to you in the morning. Patio avec petit frigo, mais sans possibilité de faire cuire ou chauffer de la nourriture. ”

I loved sitting in the rocking chair listening to the man-made waterfall, discovering the rock path with jaw dropping beauty at every turn and enjoying the refreshing pool. The hosts are amazing as well! They truly love showing the place. Breakfast was fantastic and they were so gracious to give us seconds on smoothies.
